At Science, Language & Arts International School, learning does not stop once the school day is over. We host a wide range of Enrichment, After-School Care, and Tutoring options for children. All of our after-school activities align with our distinct academic philosophy.

After-school activities are offered for three separate terms each school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and are open to students enrolled at other schools.

If your child is enrolled elsewhere and you are interested in our after-school activities, please submit an inquiry form.

In addition to our own programming, we partner with various providers to offer children varied and appealing Enrichment choices, many of which are in the target language. Recent offerings include Kung Fu, Board (Strategy) Games, Circus Arts, STEAM Building, Improvisational Theater, Stop Motion Animation, Outdoor Multi-Sports, Fiber Arts, Chess, Storytelling, and Volleyball. In addition, SLA is developing an exciting new Math Circle to draw from schools city-wide.

After-School Care is offered daily in two 90-minute sessions (34:30 p.m. and 4:306 p.m.). It is a time for collaborative play and an opportunity for children to interact with students from different grades and classrooms. While After-School Care is mostly in the target language, children practice language code switching in this setting. When space is available, families may have their child “drop in” to After-School Care at a daily rate.

At our Main Campus, we offer after-school Tutoring. Children can receive tailored support in French, Mandarin, English literacy, and Math with highly trained teachers and tutors.

Tutoring Hourly Rates

  • $90   Private one-on-one tutoring
  • $65   Semi-private tutoring for 2 children
  • $50   Semi-private tutoring for 3–4 children
